Board Meeting Minutes

1. Call to Order

   • The meeting was called to order by Alan Pautsch at 9:05 AM.

2. Roll Call

   • Present: [Alan Pautsch, Chris Melnick, Scott Welzbacher, and Ayush Bhattasali]

   • Absent: [None]

   • Quorum Confirmation: [A quorum was present.]

3. Shipping Concerns

   • Status:

     1. USPS eventually delivered the seeds.  It took 3 weeks, but it did arrive.

     2. Continue to ship with USPS for now.

     1. The first 8 packages have been sent out!

     2. Reddit Advertising Campaign is complete, revenue from advertising  is at about a 1:1.  It is being paused for now in favor of more organic outreach.

     3. Facebook Advertising Campaign set to Active during meeting.  Need to check in on this regularly after 24 - 48 hours.

     4. Will look for opportunities to attend local seed swaps and other events

     5. Outreach will continue on social media

   • Action Items

     1. Continue to build base on social media platforms

   • Welcome Ayush

   • Set up with Camp Monarch email

   • Shared passwords to social media sites

6. Social Media Base Building

   • Action Item: Alan will start uploading images that can be used in posts.

   • Post 3x a week on social media platforms

     1. Talk about active active fundraising campaign, with link to the site

7. Volunteer Outreach

   • Ayush proposed that we reach out to high school students needing volunteer hours for college application.

   • Alan will start working on templates and verify what is needed for official documentation

8. Need a business phone number, only for two factor authentication

   • Google Voice $10 a month - Need to this up
